ENS, room 236, Jaurès building, 24 rue Lhomond, 75005 Paris
What works for promoting equality and diversity in academia?
How to take cross-cultural differences into account when trying to adopt evidence-based practices?
How to monitor effectiveness, namely when data is missing or its collection is restricted?
All are welcome to join and take part in the discussion with the founders of Women in Cognitive Science (WiCS). Come hear from expert scientists who have been promoting equality and diversity in international academic societies and their local institutions. The panel discussion will be followed by a discussion with the audience. Coffee and refreshments will follow (16-17h), for a more informal discussion and networking.
Panellists: Professor Judith Kroll (University of California, Riverside), Professor Suparna Rajaram (Stony Brook University), and Professor Teresa Bajo (Granada University).
Moderator: Nura Sidarus (Ecole Normale Superieure).
Organized by DEC Equality & Diversity group. With financial support from DEC.
